Click here to submit a Public Records Request and learn more about the County of Ventura&#8217;s processes related to public records act request.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/boardscommissionscommittees-information\/\">Boards\/Commissions\/Committees<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk of the Board\u2019s\u00a0Office is responsible for managing information regarding Boards\/Commissions\/Committees\u00a0that are either created by the Board of Supervisors and\/or that the Board of Supervisors\u00a0sits as members.<\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/form-700-filings\/\">Form700\/Conflict of Interest\/Biennial Notices<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk of the Board\u00a0is the Filing Officer for over 90 public entities where specific individuals designated\u00a0by those entity\u2019s Conflict of Interest Codes must file their Statement of Economic\u00a0Interest Form (Form 700).<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/city-selection-committee\/\">City Selection Committee<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk of the Board serves as the\u00a0Secretary to the City Selection Committee which is comprised of all of the Mayors\u00a0of the 10 incorporated cities within Ventura County who meet to appoint members\u00a0to certain public entities.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/claims-summons-subpoenas\/\">Claims and Summons<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk of the Board accepts service of\u00a0legal documents on behalf of the County of Ventura, County Special Districts, and\u00a0County Employees who are being served in their capacity as a County Employee. While\u00a0the Clerk of the Board accepts service of these documents, the Clerk of the Board\u00a0is NOT the official Custodian of Record.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/election-advisory-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Election Advisory Committee<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk of the Board prepares the Agendas, Minutes, and serves as the Custodian of Record for the documents for items that have been requested to be heard before the Ventura County Election Advisory Committee.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/fire-protection-district-board-of-appeals\/\">Fire Protection District Board of Appeals<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Clerk\u00a0of the Board prepares the Agendas, Minutes, and serves as the Custodian of Record\u00a0for the documents for items that have been requested to be heard before the Board\u00a0of Appeals.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><a href=\"\/county-executive-office\/clerk-of-the-board\/ventura-county-consolidated-oversight-board\/\">Ventura County Consolidated Oversight Board<\/a><br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>The Ventura County Consolidated Oversight Board (VCCOB) is established pursuant to the\u00a0State of California, Health and Safety Code Section 34179 (j), and as of July 1, 2018 in each county where more than one redevelopment successor agency oversight board was created, there shall be only one Consolidated Oversight Board.
