A Board Member\u2019s role is to determine the value of your property based only upon evidence presented by you and the Assessor\u2019s Office representative at your hearing.<\/p><p>Having your case heard before a Hearing Officer (only available for properties with values under $500,000 or is a single family residence, condominium, cooperative, multiple family residence of four units or less) is considered an expedient and convenient alternative to the formal Board quasi-judicial proceedings.
