Motorpool vehicles will be moved to Lot &#8220;G&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p><p>Some portions of Parking Lot &#8220;F&#8221; will remain closed as contractors run electrical cabling to the new panels.\u00a0<\/p><p>GSA has coordinated a survey of the parking lots at the Government Center at the beginning of the calendar year and again recently. Both surveys reflect that we have enough parking spots available for the average number of visitors. Please plan accordingly as it may take a little longer to find a parking spot.\u00a0<\/p><p>The construction period for Phase 2 in Lot &#8220;E&#8221; is expected to last 8 weeks.<\/p><hr \/><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The County of Ventura has begun the solar panel project across Parking Lots \u201cA\u201d \u2013 \u201cF\u201d. This project kicked off on <strong>March 10th, 2025<\/strong>. The structural work will be conducted in 6 phases, one for each parking lot, beginning with \u201cF\u201d and going counterclockwise. Each phase is expected to take 4-8 weeks. The work in Lot &#8220;F&#8221; is expected to conclude in early May. The electrical portion will continue in each lot in smaller sections throughout the next year plus.<\/p><p>The parking in Lot &#8220;F&#8221; that is already under solar panels will be unaffected. <strong>ADA accessible<\/strong> parking will be made available in the closest available row near the building. Carpool parking will temporarily move to Lot &#8220;G&#8221;. Please be advised that vehicles left in work areas may be subject to towing.<\/p><p>Thank you for your understanding and patience through this project. This directly supports the County of Ventura Strategic Priority of Reliable Infrastructure and Sustainability.
