FREE Microchip Clinics Sundays through July 4

Ventura County Animal Services is hosting FREE microchip clinics Sundays, June 21 and 28, from 10-11 a.m., at the Camarillo Shelter, 600 Aviation Drive. Many pets go missing during the 4th of July season when fireworks scare them into jumping fences. VCAS hosts Microchip Clinics ahead of the holiday to help pets return home faster. Microchips are not GPS trackers. They only work when a shelter or rescue scans the pet. So, be sure your pets always wear ID tags with your phone number.

Requirements:

  • Pets must be 8 weeks or older.
  • You must live in Ventura County.
  • Cats must be in carriers.
  • Dogs must be on leash.
