Help for People Experiencing Homelessness
Homelessness is defined as sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation; sleeping in an emergency shelter; or fleeing domestic violence. At risk of homelessness is defined as imminently losing housing within the next 60 days.
Through community partnerships and collaboration, HSA’s Homeless Services Program helps individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
We can connect you with local agencies, community resources, and benefits that meet your specific needs. Eligible individuals can also get help with rental expenses and case management to prevent future homelessness.
If you are facing homelessness, please call 805-385-1800. Leave a message (in English or Spanish) after hours and we will call you back. You can also send us an email.

Requirements vary by location. For the most accurate and up‑to‑date information, please contact 2‑1‑1 for assistance.
