$4 <\/strong>On<\/strong>–<\/strong>Demand Shared Rides<\/strong> in a Zone of South Oxnard<\/strong><\/p>\n

The service uses an electric vehicle and GCTD’s existing fleet of paratransit vehicles, some updated with racks to accommodate bicycles.\u00a0 The entire GO Now fleet was also updated with LED dashboard lights to help passengers identify an approaching GO Now vehicle to pick up a customer.<\/p>\n

GO Now is Gold Coast Transit District\u2019s (GCTD) new on-demand rideshare service available to anyone over the age of 14 who requires transportation within the South Oxnard GO Now service zone. The service costs $4 and is intended for short local trips and uses small vehicles. The new service is intended to provide passengers an affordable, safe and convenient option that allows you to travel for quick trips around the South Oxnard neighborhood (GO Now service zone). Connections may be made to fixed routes, commuter buses, or rail services at the Oxnard Transit and Center Point Transfer Centers.<\/p>\n

The service uses an electric vehicle and GCTD’s existing fleet of paratransit vehicles, some updated with racks to accommodate bicycles.\u00a0 The entire GO Now fleet was also updated with LED dashboard lights to help passengers identify an approaching GO Now vehicle to pick up a customer.<\/p>\n

Rides are available Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can be requested and paid for by downloading the TransLoc app from Google Play or the App Store. This service is OPEN TO ALL.<\/p>\n

GO Now es el nuevo servicio de viaje compartido a pedido del Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) disponible para cualquier persona mayor de 14 a\u00f1os que requiera transporte dentro de la zona de servicio GO Now de South Oxnard. El servicio cuesta $4 y est\u00e1 destinado a viajes locales cortos y utiliza veh\u00edculos peque\u00f1os. El nuevo servicio est\u00e1 destinado a brindar a los pasajeros una opci\u00f3n asequible, segura y conveniente que les permita realizar viajes r\u00e1pidos por el vecindario de South Oxnard (zona de servicio GO Now). Se pueden realizar conexiones a rutas fijas, autobuses de cercan\u00edas o servicios ferroviarios en los centros de transferencia Oxnard Transit y Center Point.<\/p>\n

El servicio utiliza un veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico y la flota existente de veh\u00edculos de paratr\u00e1nsito de GCTD, algunos actualizados con soportes para bicicletas.
