File an ADA Compliant

Why file an ADA complaint?

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), you are entitled to equal access to all County facilities, programs, and services. If you have an access issue, let us know by filing a complaint.

Steps to file an ADA Compliant

Submit your complaint

Fill out as much of the online form as you can. Be sure to include your contact information so we can follow up with you.

If necessary, you can also submit your complaint in one of these ways:

When submitting a complaint in writing, be sure to include the following information:

Your name
Your address
Your phone number
The location of the incident
Date and time of the incident
Description of what happened

Receive a response

After the associated department conducts an investigation, ODA will send you a written response within 30 days of when you filed your complaint.

Request reconsideration

Not satisfied with the County’s response?

Send a request for reconsideration in writing to ODA within 10 business days from the day the County issues a response to your complaint. You can email your request to CountyODA@venturacounty.gov
