The County of Ventura has named Roger Robinson as the director of the Human Services Agency following the retirement of Director Melissa Livingston. He began his role in mid-June, and Livingston remains with HSA post-retirement through June to help facilitate a seamless transition.
Robinson has more than two decades of experience in social services. Most recently, he helped lead Solano County Health and Social Services as the assistant director for the agency. Having worked at the municipal level and the nonprofit sector, Robinson has extensive experience in strategic leadership across essential service areas, including behavioral health, public health, child welfare, older adults and adults with disabilities, as well as employment and eligibility services.
