Ojai CARES Cancer Support Group

Ojai CARES offers in-person Cancer support groups on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Ojai United Methodist Church, 120 Church Rd., Ojai at 5:30 p.m.

This cancer support group provides a safe space to connect with mothers coping with any type and stage of cancer and is led by Renne Mandala, a medical social worker who post provides emotional and practical support.

A cancer support group can:

  • Reduce feeling of loneliness, anxiety and distress.
  • Help learn new ways of coping.
  • Increase feelings of hope and empowerment.
  • Provide you with practical information, treatment and resources.
  • Help you communication better with your medical team and loved ones.
