Federal Shutdown Ends Restoring CalFresh Funding

November 13, 2025 update: The federal government has reopened following an agreement to continue government funding, restoring federal funding for critical safety net benefits. This means that CalFresh funding has been restored and benefits have been loaded to EBT cards for the month of November. If you were approved for CalFresh during the shutdown, you should be receiving your November benefit soon. Please see these FAQs from the California Department of Social Services for more information.
