Community Emergency Access Needs Assessment Final Report
Informe Final de la Evaluación Comunitaria de Acceso en Casos de Emergencia

The County’s Access and Functional Needs Working Group honed project findings into the following Recommended Actions (English PDF) (Spanish PDF) that will be presented to the Board of Supervisors in December. The Recommended Actions include steps that can be taken by local organizations and public entities, as well as individuals and caregivers, to increase preparedness and equitable outcomes for all during future disasters in Ventura County.

Capacity Building

We are grateful to our partner, Autism Ventura County, for delivering 13 capacity building workshops to nearly 400 individuals with disabilities and their family members and staff from nonprofit, educational, public and emergency response sectors who serve them across Ventura County. Individuals interested in additional training opportunities can find them here.
