May 2026 is Military Appreciation Month, a special time for those in and out of the military. It is a time designated to honor and recognize the contributions, sacrifices, and service of the members of the armed forces, past and present.
Our Veteran Services Office helps these men and women, as well as their families, gain access to financial assistance and medical treatment. Services also include assistance with:
- Claims to the VA for service-connected compensation.
- Pension for wartime veterans with non-service-connected disabilities.
- California Tuition Fee Waiver Program.
- Memorial benefits.
- VA life insurance.
- Medical referrals and information.
- Mental Healthcare for Other than Honorable (OTH) Discharged Former Service Members.
- Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF).
In addition to our main office in Oxnard, we serve veterans and their dependents at field office locations in Camarillo and Simi Valley.
